Job summary

The Body Designer at Stellantis is responsible for creating 3D designs using NX and Teamcenter for Body in White components and assemblies. This role covers the full design process—from initial concept models to production-ready detailing.

Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining NX CAD models and 2D drawings, supporting design teams, and ensuring accuracy and conformance to design standards throughout the development cycle. Experience with automotive body-in-white is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of NX (Unigraphics) automotive design experience.
• Minimum 5 years of practical knowledge of vehicles and the assembly process.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., stamping, welding, molding, casting).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

Basic Qualifications:

• Education:

• Technical Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years of training or work experience inNX (Unigraphics)automotive design.
  • Minimum of 5 year of practical knowledge of vehicles and the vehicle assembly process.
  • Basic understanding or coursework on manufacturing processes (e.g., stamping, welding, molding, casting).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Software Skills:

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8+ Years of Designer Experience
