Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking a Case Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly organized and capable of handling a varied caseload. You will assist attorneys with settlements, document preparation, and correspondence.

A customer-focused, empathetic approach is essential for success in this role. Responsibilities include client interactions, obtaining medical records, and coordinating with providers and insurers to support cases. Not remote eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years in a legal or insurance position preferred.
• Not remote eligible.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook; typing speed 35 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Daily interactions with clients by phone and in person.
• Order medical records from providers and communicate with clients and providers.
• Gather documents to support injury or liability positions.
• Liaise with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and medical balances with providers.
• Collaborate with coworkers across case management.
• Maintain organized case files.
• Prepare comprehensive demands and submit to carriers.
• Present case synopsis to attorneys when required.
• Manage case files from intake to closing under attorney supervision.
• Perform other duties as needed.
