Job summary

National General is seeking an experienced Bodily Injury Adjuster. The role supports California, Nevada, Oregon, and Arizona with a 8am-5pm Pacific time schedule. The ideal candidate will handle bodily injury claims, determine coverage and liability, and negotiate settlements within authority.

Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills are required to manage investigations and settlements from start to finish while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling bodily injury claims, including auto, homeowner or commercial liability.
• Ability to determine coverage, liability, damages, and negotiate claims within authority.
• Strong verbal and written communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Handles investigation regarding all aspects of bodily injury claims (coverage, damages, subrogation, litigation).
• Applies understanding of company policies and industry practices.
• Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle.
• Identifies customer needs and uses appropriate customer service skills.
• Recognizes body parts of a vehicle and potential property damage.
• Collaborates with assigned reps for fraud/subrogation cases.
