Allgas Inc of Alabama, part of the Ergon family, is seeking a Bobtail Driver based in Gardendale, AL. As a full-time driver, you will pick up and deliver propane to residential and industrial customers on local routes and may participate in after-hours/weekend on-call deliveries.

The role emphasizes safety, strong customer service, and adherence to DOT requirements. Pre-employment checks and a clean MVR are required. Benefits include health coverage and 401(k) with company match.

Formación

• CDL is required or can be obtained quickly
• Clean driving record is required
• Physically able to lift 60 lbs in all weather conditions
• Truck experience preferred, but not required

Responsabilidades

• Load, secure, transport, and deliver propane safely
• Provide outstanding customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiries
• Inspects vehicle and notify supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance
• Maintain compliance with all DOT requirements
• Assist the service crew in setting tanks
• Communicate any issues or maintenance needs
• Additional duties may be assigned by management as needed.

Job Summary

Based in Gardendale, AL, Bobtail Drivers are critical to our success as they are the face of our company in their daily interactions with our current and future customers. As full-time driver on our team, you will pick up and deliver propane to residential and industrial customers in a safe and efficient manner. Delivery drivers can expect to work local routes and be home every night; however, on-call rotations for after-hours and weekend emergency deliveries may be needed.
