Job summary

Oliver Inc. is seeking a Folding‑Gluer Operator for the 2nd shift on the Long Island, NY facility. You’ll own the setup, operation, and quality outcomes of the folding‑gluer line, turning job tickets into production-ready settings and delivering consistent, high‑quality cartons.

Read tickets, calibrate feeders, glue, and scoring, monitor run-time, perform preventive maintenance, and maintain a clean, safe work cell. Relocation and sign-on bonuses are available for experienced hires.

Qualifications

• Background as a Folding‑Gluer Operator in printing, packaging, or folding-carton environments (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with robust folding-gluer setups is advantageous.
• Strong math and measurement skills for precise setup and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Configure stations: feeder, glue system, plow/fold plates, compression, pack station, and quality inspection systems.
• Optimize fold sequence, glue placement, paperboard thickness, and score alignment.
• Deploy automated inspection to verify quality at speed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs to keep uptime high.
• Read job tickets, confirm schedules, track materials, and maintain inventory counts.
• Finish post-run cleanup and maintain a safe, organized work cell.
