Job summary

Berry Companies' Bobcat of Atlanta - Riverdale is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to repair Bobcat construction equipment. You will diagnose, service, and maintain dealer-owned gear, ensuring timely, accurate workmanship and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, preferred technical training, and 1-year fleet/ dealership diesel experience with 3-5 years preferred. Competitive benefits and internal advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 year technical school graduate preferred.
• 1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop is required; 3-5 years preferred.
• Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team.
• Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs.
• Heavy equipment and or agricultural experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality repair services on construction equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner
• Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment
• Identifies problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel & electrical systems and executes solutions
• Participates in Service Training programs for the development of skills and knowledge
• Document all repairs and testing for customer and warranty repairs
• Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management of the company.
