Job summary

Bobcat of Atlanta is seeking a Diesel Mechanic at our Carrollton, GA location. The role focuses on providing quality repair services on Bobcat equipment and meeting customer needs in a timely, friendly manner.

You will perform basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance, identify problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel and electrical systems, and implement effective solutions. Ongoing service training and documentation of repairs are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year technical school preferred.
• 1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop required; 3-5 years preferred.
• Must be a team player with a strong commitment to customers and service.
• Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate repairs.
• Heavy equipment and/or agricultural experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality repair services on construction equipment to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner.
• Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned equipment.
• Identifies problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel & electrical systems and executes solutions.
• Participates in Service Training programs for skill development.
• Document all repairs and testing for customer and warranty repairs.
• Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and/or management.

Bobcat of Atlanta - Carrollton is looking to add a Diesel Mechanic. This role will be responsible for providing quality repair services on Bobcat equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner. This includes performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment. The technician will also be responsible for identifying problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems and executing effective solutions.

Monday - Friday dayshift

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
• Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
• Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
