Job summary

Bobcat of Atlanta in Riverdale, MD is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to provide quality repair services on Bobcat equipment, including diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance to meet customer needs in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year fleet or dealership diesel shop experience (3–5 years preferred), and possess an inventory of hand tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 year technical school graduate preferred.
• 1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop is required; 3-5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality repair services on construction equipment to meet customer needs.
• Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on equipment.
• Identifies problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel & electrical systems and executes solutions.
• Participates in Service Training programs for development of skills and knowledge.
• Document all repairs and testing for customer and warranty repairs.
• Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and/or management.
