Job summary

Bobcat of Houston - Brazos Valley is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Bobcat equipment. This role focuses on delivering quality service in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner, as part of a dedicated team.

The position emphasizes basic diagnostics, servicing, and problem resolution across mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems, with a Monday–Friday dayshift, and opportunities for training and advancement within the

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2 year technical school preferred.
1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop required; 3-5 years preferred.
Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team.
Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs.
Heavy equipment and/or agricultural experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide quality repair services on construction equipment to meet customer needs in a timely manner.
Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on equipment.
Identifies problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel and electrical systems and executes solutions.
Participates in Service Training programs for skill development.
Document all repairs and testing for customer and warranty repairs.
Other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and management.
