Under direct supervision, serves as Assistant Civil Engineer in the In-House Design Unit of the Division of Bridges. Performs civil engineering work of moderate difficulty and responsibility. Assists Engineer-In-Charge in preparing contract plans and engineering sketches using CADD system for various bridge replacement/rehabilitation projects. Participates in the preparation of specifications and cost estimates. Participates in field trips to bridges in design. Performs other related duties.
