Job summary

Fluid Motion, LLC in Arlington, WA is seeking a Fiberglass Tooling Technician to fabricate, maintain, and repair fiberglass molds, patterns, and tooling used in our marine manufacturing process. The role requires hands-on experience with fiberglass materials and composites, plus strong attention to detail.

Ideal candidates will work well independently or as part of a team; boating or marine tooling experience is preferred. Shift hours are 5 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience with fiberglass, resins, fillers, and fairing compounds.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Boatbuilding or marine tooling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform fiberglass layup, bonding, and repairs.
• Sand, shape, and fair fiberglass surfaces to achieve smooth, accurate finishes.
• Build, modify, and finish boat plugs, molds, and tooling.
• Apply fillers and prepare surfaces for primer and finishing.
• Safely operate shop tools such as sanders and grinders.
