Job summary

MarineMax Services Inc. is looking for a dedicated Yard Team Member to maintain an organized yard and showroom with well-maintained equipment and vehicles.

You will clean and prepare boats and trailers, perform light maintenance, and assist in delivering products to customers as needed. The role requires safe operation of forklifts and other yard equipment, with a focus on presenting a professional environment and supporting boat shows and promotional events.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform general maintenance at facility.
• Experience with cleaning boats and showroom.
• Willingness to operate yard equipment.

Responsibilities

• YARD: Assist with check-in procedures of new boats delivered to the dealership.
• YARD: Operate a hydraulic jack or hoist as needed.
• YARD: Perform general maintenance at facility, including small repairs, lawn maintenance and dock maintenance.
• YARD: Safe operation of company vehicles, forklifts and equipment, including trailer handling.
• YARD: Provide vehicle and equipment maintenance.
• YARD: Assist in the delivery of product to customer whenever needed, including but not limited to delivering trailer boats.
• INVENTORY: Wash, dry, vacuum inventory boats to ensure they are ready for viewing or sea trialing.
• INVENTORY: Wax and buff inventory or customer owned boats
• INVENTORY: Clean and remove dust, grease and oils from exterior surfaces of in stock and customer boats and trailers.
• INVENTORY: Cover and uncover boats as needed
• INVENTORY: Shrink wrap boats as needed
• INVENTORY: Assist with cleaning and maintenance of the dealerships to ensure a professional work environment conducive to selling
• GENERAL: Assist with set up of boat shows and other on/off-site promotional events.
• GENERAL: May operate tractor or forklift in the yard to move boats.
• GENERAL: Fully participate in the MarineMax Safety Program, maintaining a safe and hazard-free yard and showroom.
• GENERAL: Other duties as assigned.
