Job summary

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in boat manufacturing and a trade/tech/vocational education background. This on-site position involves varied physical duties in a factory setting with standard safety practices.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Repair Tech B is responsible for identification and repairs of defects in boat surfaces.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Inspects completed fiberglass boat bodies, hulls, and parts for defects and blemishes.
  • Repairs boat body and hull defects by sanding, buffing, spraying, or dabbing.
  • Works in team to physically move boats in the production area.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Preferred Degree: Trade, Tech or Vocational Education
  • Years of experience: Minimum 1 year in boat manufacturing
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
  • Skilled at using hand tools.
  • Understand written and verbal instructions
