AlumaCraft in St. Peter, MN, seeks a Final Prep team member to contribute to the assembly and finishing of boats. You will read schematics, inspect finished products, and ensure conformance with specifications using hand and power tools.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and quality, with opportunities for training and growth. The position is full-time, on-site in Saint Peter, MN, with overtime as needed and a culture centered on craftsmanship, reliability, and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to stand, kneel, crawl and work for several hours.
• Ability to lift and move products and materials.
• Strong communication in writing and speaking.
• Overtime may be required to meet production needs.
• Experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, specifications, and work instructions
• Perform visual inspections of finished products
• Examine workpieces for defects and measure to ensure conformance with specifications
• Detect and escalate faulty operation of equipment, defective materials and production misses
• Conduct pre-shift inspections of equipment as assigned
• Operate overhead hoist following safety requirements and procedures
• Align and clamp workpieces or material using tools and fixtures
• Position and secure workpieces using overhead hoists or manual manipulation
• Secure material with rivet guns, drills and screws
• Install hoses, fuel lines, wiring harnesses, and gas tanks into boats
• Prep boats for foaming and test foam density
• Spray components inside a spray booth with appropriate materials
• Attach material to glue surfaces and install floors
• Mark or tag material with identifiers
• Maintain clean work area and walkways; reduce debris
• Participate in daily meetings and contribute to continuous improvement
• Assist in training other employees on equipment and procedures
• Aid in other areas as needed
