Reynolds Lake Oconee is seeking a skilled marina technician to perform billable repairs on a fleet of rental boats and maintain marina equipment. The role requires diagnosing mechanical systems, electrical installations, and preventative maintenance, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

The candidate will handle parts ordering, inventory, and customer relations, organize service requests, and support management as needed. GA driver's license and ability to lift up to 100 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience or certification in boat engine repairs.
• Ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams.
• Experience welding and torch work.
• Boat operation and towing knowledge.
• Must lift up to 100 lbs and work in varied environments.
• GA driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to swim desired.

Responsibilities

• Produce billable repairs and maintenance on work orders.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical components on boats (outboard/inboard/drive systems).
• Perform electronic installation and repair (wiring, fuses, controls).
• Follow preventative maintenance for rental boats and fleet vehicles.
• Order parts, manage inventory, and prepare billing records.
• Maintain safe, neat, and organized working environment.
• Handle service requests and coordinate with customers and vendors.
• Support management and act as second-in-command when needed.
