Job summary

Cobalt Boats, LLC is seeking an Electrical Troubleshooting Lead to diagnose, repair, and prevent electrical issues across boat models on the production floor. You will serve as the primary electrical technical resource, supporting daily manufacturing operations and ensuring quality standards.

You will train assembly-line staff on electrical methods, work with the engineering team on new models, and drive process improvements while maintaining ABYC/NMMA compliance where applicable.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED with electrical experience.
  • Two-year Vocational degree in electrical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues on boats in various stages of assembly.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on recurring electrical faults and recommend corrective actions.
  • Verify proper installation and function of wiring, electrical components, controls, lighting, sensors, and onboard systems.
  • Document all repairs, adjustments, and findings according to company procedures.
  • Train assembly-line operators on proper electrical installation methods, safety practices, and new processes.
