Job summary

TPG Marinas is seeking a part-time Boat Club Attendant to assist with daily marina operations and vessel support. This role focuses on delivering a high-quality customer experience and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure smooth boat club activities.

The position requires weekend and holiday availability, physical stamina to handle outdoor duties, and a willingness to work at a busy marina. Prior boating knowledge is a plus, and a background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with removing mooring covers.
• Operate the fuel dock and assist customers with purchases.
• Prepare boats for scheduled outings.
• Maintain cleanliness of the yachts (wash, polish chrome, clean teak, engine compartments, replace oil sorbs).
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Communicate effectively with team and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Description

TPG Marinas is hiring a Boat Club Attendant. This part-time seasonal position will work directly with the TPG Marinas team to support the day to day needs of the boat club including vessel cleaning and coordination of onboard provisions. This position will work with multiple departments within TPG Marinas to facilitate the boat club running smoothly and ensure a high quality customer experience.

• Assist with removing mooring covers
• Ability to work the fuel dock and ensure customers are supported in their purchases
• Prepare boats for scheduled outings.
• Maintain cleanliness of the yachts: wash, polish chrome, clean teak floors, clean engine compartments, replace oil sorbs as needed.
• Outside dockhand position with schedule to include weekends and some holidays.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required
• Boating experience is a plus but not required.
• Will be operating equipment to include tractors/mowers/hoist/etc
• Any other duties as assigned by TPG Marinas and the direct Manager

Required Skills & Abilities

• Must have reliable transportation for use during work day
• Evening, weekend and holiday availability required.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Ability to work on a team and independently.
• Ability to move into and out of small spaces that may require crouching, kneeling or crawling
• General boating knowledge is a plus
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Able to stand for extended periods and occasionally kneel, stoop, bend and twist in tight areas. Comfortability with ladders and confined spaces is required. Ability to work in the elements regularly.
