Brunswick Corporation, a global marine leader, invites you to join our Boat Group. This role involves installing components on Lund and Crestliner boats in a large manufacturing facility, reading schematics, and using power and hand tools to assemble front, middle, and back sections.

You will work with a team to install systems like fuel lines, wiring, and controls, document production, and maintain safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three months experience in manufacturing preferred, but training available.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Follow established safety processes to install all boat components.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Good safety awareness, attendance, and teamwork.
• Computer skills preferred.
• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen and LSS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply energy and initiative to learn equipment and processes.
• Must be able to read drawings and specifications.
• Install bow platform, livewell, seat hardware, fuel lines, navigational lights, and wiring harnesses.
• Transfer fuel tank to boat interior, secure to bulkheads and install fuel lines and cables.
• Install console, windshield, operating controls, wiring harnesses, seats and accessories.
• Install control cables and steering mechanisms.
• Document finished boats for production.
• Trim carpet/vinyl and glue.
• Prepare boat for next department.
• Move boats or parts to rigging area.
• Workload tracked by schedules; accountability for quality and timeliness.
• Follow safety policies and identify hazards.
• Practice good housekeeping.
