Job summary

St. Johnsbury Academy in Vermont seeks a Special Education Teacher to provide instruction in reading and math, with full-time status and a focus on differentiated instruction. • Prepare syllabi and daily lesson plans.
• Assess and provide timely evaluation information per school calendar.
• Participate in IEP meetings for student outcomes.
• Provide case management for 13–17 students.
• Teach specialized content (Math, Science, English, or History) with assignments aligned to strengths.
• Teach small group interventions.
• Review data to inform interventions.
• Maintain communication with families and districts.
