Job summary

Momento USA is seeking a Board Level Test Engineer for a long-term onsite role in Santa Clara, CA. You will design and execute hardware test plans for PCs and server platforms, build diagnostic tools, and automate validation using Python and Shell scripting.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical Engineering, has strong scripting skills, working knowledge of Windows and Linux, and experience with PCIe, Ethernet, InfiniBand, GPUs/CPUs. This is a full-time onsite position.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux OS environments.
• Working knowledge of hardware protocols: Ethernet, InfiniBand, PCIe, USB, HDMI, I2C, SPI.
• Experience with CPUs and GPUs.
• Proficient in using test equipment for diagnostics and validation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Linux or scripting experience is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-level hardware triage and troubleshooting for PCs and server platforms.

• Identify and resolve setup issues and test failures using structured troubleshooting methodologies.
• Develop and maintain test automation using Shell and Python scripting.
• Work with motherboards and GPU platforms in lab environments.
• Work with systems connected by various networking protocols, including Ethernet, NVLink and InfiniBand.
• Operate in Windows and Linux operating systems for test and debug tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support diagnostics, validation, and smooth product transitions in the NPI cycle.
