Job summary

Globex Digital Corp. in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Board Level Test Engineer for day shift. The role involves hardware triage for PCs and server platforms, and developing diagnostic tools in Python and Shell.

You will work with CPUs, GPUs, motherboards, and networked systems in a mixed Windows/Linux lab environment. The candidate will design automated tests, troubleshoot setup issues, and support NPI transitions with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux OS environments.
• Working knowledge of hardware protocols: Ethernet, Infiniband, PCIe, USB, HDMI, I2C, SPI.
• Experience with CPUs and GPUs.
• Proficient in using test equipment for diagnostics and validation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Linux or scripting experience is a huge plus

Responsibilities

• Perform first-level hardware triage and troubleshooting for PCs and server platforms.
• Design and implement diagnostic tools and scripts for early hardware validation and fault isolation.
• Identify and resolve setup issues and test failures using structured troubleshooting methodologies.
• Develop and maintain test automation using Shell and Python scripting.
• Work with motherboards and GPU platforms in lab environments.
• Work with systems connected by various networking protocols, including Ethernet, NVLink and Infiniband
• Operate in Windows and Linux operating systems for test and debug tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support diagnostics, validation, and smooth product transitions in the NPI cycle.
