Job summary

LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Hardware Validation Engineer to join our Santa Clara team for a 12-month assignment. You will diagnose PC/server platforms, develop test scripts in Python and Shell, and validate hardware interfaces and protocols in lab environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, operate on Windows and Linux, and work with networking protocols like Ethernet, InfiniBand, PCIe, USB, HDMI, I2C, and SPI to ensure robust product readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong programming and scripting in Python and Shell.
• Experience with Windows and Linux OS.
• Experience with hardware protocols: Ethernet, InfiniBand, PCIe, USB, HDMI, I2C, SPI.
• Experience with CPUs and GPUs.
• Proficiency with hardware diagnostics/test equipment.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Linux experience and scripting preferred.

• Proficiency in operating test equipment for hardware diagnostics and validation.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Experience with Linux and scripting is highly preferred.
