Job summary

Rishi Writes is seeking a Board Level Test Engineer in Santa Clara, CA for a 100% onsite role. You will triage and troubleshoot PC and server hardware, build diagnostic tools, and develop test automation to validate new products.

Proficiency in Python and Shell, plus experience with Windows and Linux, is essential. The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or MS in EE (MSEE), and hands-on work with CPU/GPU platforms and hardware protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong scripting in Python and Shell is required.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Working knowledge of hardware protocols: Ethernet, InfiniBand, PCIe, USB, HDMI, I2C and SPI.
• Experience with CPUs and GPUs.
• Proficient in using test equipment for diagnostics and validation.
• Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Hardware triage and troubleshooting for PCs and server platforms.
• Design and implement diagnostic tools and scripts for hardware validation.
• Work with networking protocols and multiple OS environments (Windows and Linux).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the NPI cycle to ensure smooth product transitions.
