Job summary

Bay Pines VA Healthcare System seeks an experienced Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to provide comprehensive surgical care and limited general dentistry within the Dental Services. The candidate should be board eligible or boarded by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

This role is located at Bay Pines, Florida, with responsibilities including managing medically compromised patients and participating in specialty residency activities as required by the VA.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DDS or DMD from an approved school.
• Residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery or equivalent.
• Current, full and unrestricted dental license in US, territory, or DC.

Responsibilities

• Provide oral and maxillofacial surgical care and limited general dentistry as needed.
• Administer anesthesia and prescribe medications as appropriate.

Education

DDS/DMD degree from an approved dental school

Residency in General Practice or Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
