Job summary

Global Talent Partners seeks a Veterinary Surgeon (Board Certified / Diplomate / Residency Trained) for a Hawthorne, CA role. The position involves performing a broad range of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures within a 24/7 emergency and specialty center, leading peri-operative planning, and coordinating anesthesia with a focus on patient safety.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent is required.
• Board-certified in Surgery or residency-trained and board-eligible.
• License to practice in California or ability to obtain.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Strong surgical judgment and client communication.
• Comfort with advanced imaging and minimally invasive techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures in a high-acuity, team-based setting.
• Collaborate with internal medicine, cardiology, ophthalmology, dermatology and ER/critical care.
• Lead peri-operative planning, anesthesia coordination and post-operative care for patient safety and analgesia.
• Utilize in-house CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, endoscopy and digital radiography to guide case management.
• Participate in rounds, case reviews and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Provide mentorship to veterinarians and staff; support a teaching-focused culture.
• Communicate clearly with clients and referring veterinarians for continuity of care.
• Contribute to a fair, team-oriented schedule that supports work-life balance.
