Qualifications

• DVM or VMD from an accredited college or university.
• Completed a 3-year AVMA-approved residency in small animal internal medicine.
• Current State Veterinary License and DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Communicate with clients and educate about care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Prescribe medications and follow controlled substance protocols.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager and regional leadership on priorities.
