Job summary

You will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management while collaborating with social workers and other health professionals. Ideal candidates will have a Medical Degree, complete residency in Psychiatry, and be eligible for state licensure. The role also involves patient advocacy and documentation of care. Qualifications

• Must possess or be eligible for an unrestricted State Medical License and DEA registration.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop and monitor treatment plans for mental health conditions.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records.
• Provide emergency psychiatric assessments as needed.

Skills

Experience with specific populations (Child & Adolescent, Geriatric, or Substance Use Disorders)

Proficiency in Electronic Health Record systems (Epic, Athena)

Strong interpersonal skills

Education

Medical Degree (MD or DO)

Completion of ACGME-accredited residency in Psychiatry
