Qualifikationen

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia.
• Board Certification in a relevant primary care specialty or other appropriate specialty.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience post-residency, preferably in residential/long-term care or primary care.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Aufgaben

• Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, including physical exams, medical history reviews, and diagnostic testing.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, prescribing medications and creating treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostics.
• Monitor patient health, vital signs, medication adherence, and progress toward goals.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and staff for holistic care.
• Provide preventative care, health education, and counseling.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in on-call rotations for emergency coverage.
• Adhere to State policies and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
