Metropolitan Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Service in Louisville, KY is seeking an ACVS-board-certified or residency-trained veterinarian to join a premier, 24-hour referral and emergency practice with a strong multi-specialty team.

You will provide soft tissue, orthopedic, neurologic and oncologic surgeries, collaborate with board-certified surgeons, and mentor interns within a supportive, team-driven environment focused on exemplary patient care and client service.

Formación

• ACVS board-certified or residency-trained is required.
• Licensed or license-eligible in Kentucky.
• Proficient in soft tissue, orthopedic, neurologic and oncologic surgeries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for client and patient care.
• Dedicated to partnering with primary care veterinarians.

Metropolitan Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Service is a well-established referral and 24-hour emergency practice, serving Kentucky and our surrounding Midwest communities for over thirty years. We offer a highly collaborative team consisting of board-certified veterinarians in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Neurology, Dentistry and Critical Care, in conjunction with our exceptional team of internship-trained emergency veterinarians and a practice limited to eye care.

Our 17,000+ sq. ft. hospital is well equipped with three surgical suites, an endoscopy suite with video endoscopy equipment, arthroscopy, CO2 laser, MRI, CT, digital radiology, full in-house diagnostic laboratory and continuing education/training center.

MVSES embraces technology using EzyVet for electronic treatment boards and medical records allowing for seamless patient billing and medical record keeping, permitting you to focus on being the doctor.

Position is full or part-time, offering excellent opportunity for professional fulfillment while maintaining a work/life balance. The ideal candidate is:

• ACVS board-certification or residency-trained
• Licensed or license eligible in the state of Kentucky.
• Proficient in soft tissue, orthopedic, neurologic and oncological surgeries
