Humboldt Park Health in Chicago is seeking an Emergency Department physician to provide high-quality emergency care in a 200-bed acute care facility. The physician will treat ED patients, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with ED staff and hospital departments to ensure timely care and throughput.

The role requires an MD/DO, active Illinois medical license, DEA, and ABEM/AOBEM board certification, with the ability to oversee patient care from arrival to discharge.

Formación

• Medical Degree (M.D.) or D.O. from an accredited school.
• Current and valid Illinois physician license.
• Current and valid DEA and IL Controlled Substance license.
• AOBEM or ABEM board certification.

Responsabilidades

• Promptly assess patients who present to the ED for care.
• Order appropriate medical tests and treatments.
• Develop a patient treatment plan.
• Oversee patient care, treatment, and recovery.
• Admit, treat, and discharge patients per standards and policies.
• Document care and authenticate medical records in a timely manner.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists.
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff and providers.
