Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks a Certified Clinical Pharmacist to support physicians and nurses in safely prescribing and dispensing medications. You will review prescriptions for interactions, dosing, allergies, and unusual findings, acting as the final check beyond computer systems.

You will engage in real-time patient care, research, and education, aiming to deliver outstanding service and care. The role is based at the St. Rose Dominican, San Martín Campus in Las Vegas, NV.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with Nevada license and 1 year of experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or D.Pharmacy with 1 year of experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Board certifications listed below are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for drug interactions, dosing, allergies, and safety.
• Enter and verify orders in the computer system and dispense medications promptly.
• Verify medications prepared by others and provide drug information to patients and clinicians.
• Clarify unclear orders with the provider and support appropriate therapeutic regimens.
• Maintain knowledge to provide clinical services across age groups and institutions.
• Familiarity with automated systems used in the pharmacy.
