Job summary

Overview

Provide behavioral and therapeutic support services to consumers. This includes assessment, evaluation, training and education, program planning, support services, and clinical services to consumers, families, and/or staff. Responsibilities include conducting behavioral evaluations, liaising for psychiatric supports, participating in ongoing assessments, developing and monitoring behavioral intervention plans, meeting with consumers and their families, responding to emergencies, preparing and submitting reports regularly, maintaining caseload files, and collaborating as a member of multidisciplinary teams. Provide staff training on implemented programs.

Qualifications
  • Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB.
  • Experience in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis programming with behavioral intervention is required.
  • Ability to review and interpret technical information, write technical materials, speak persuasively, analyze situations, and draw conclusions.
  • Knowledge of age-appropriate activities/behaviors, CPT codes, payor rules, language skills, and research-based treatment modalities.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other physical activities.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to evaluate behavior, skills, and needs.
  • Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on assessment results and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Design and implement evidence-based ABA interventions tailored to clients' needs and goals.
  • Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on progress and emerging needs.
  • Apply ABA techniques to improve social, communication, academic, and daily living skills.
  • Implement strategies to reduce maladaptive behaviors and promote positive changes.
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data to evaluate intervention effectiveness.
  • Maintain detailed records and prepare reports on client progress.
  • Educate and support parents and caregivers in understanding ASD and behavioral strategies.
  • Work with other professionals to ensure cohesive treatment approaches.
  • Participate in team meetings and share insights for optimal care.
  • Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and staff, providing training and feedback.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support professional development.
  • Engage with community resources to support client integration.
  • Ensure interventions adhere to ethical guidelines and standards.
  • Stay current with developments in behavior analysis and autism treatment.
  • Manage crisis situations effectively, ensuring safety.
  • Complete clinical documentation within SpringHealth’s EHR daily.
  • Assist in developing staff training materials to enhance programs and ensure compliance.
  • Pursue continued education on behavior interventions to stay competitive.
  • Complete monthly and quarterly notes on client progress.
