Position Overview

The role of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) is to support the development, implementation, and refinement of programmatic and individual behavioral supports for clients with social, emotional, and behavioral health needs. The BCBA will function as a specialist, increase the capacity of all team members to effectively provide behavioral support, and act as the primary interventionist in data collection, assessments, and treatment planning.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement functional behavior assessments and analyses.
  • Create and refine behavior strategies and treatment plans for clients.
  • Provide group work to youth and conduct crisis intervention as needed.
  • Maintain data, paperwork, and communication with personal care staff and families.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to government related agencies.
  • Perform ongoing support, training workshops, and direct supervision to support professionals.
  • Meet with supervised staff as needed to discuss ongoing client issues and provide support.
  • Transport clients to and from site using agency or personal vehicle.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director of Residential Services.
Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis, Psychology, Human Services, or Special Education.
  • Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) Certification.
  • Approved CORI & DCF background checks (preformed by the EEC).
  • Approved driving background check.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience with writing IEP goals, objectives, and benchmarks.
