Overview
Provide behavioral and therapeutic support services to consumers. This includes assessment, evaluation, training and education, program planning, support services, and clinical services to consumers, families, and/or staff. Responsibilities include conducting behavioral evaluations, acting as a liaison for psychiatric supports, participating in ongoing assessments, developing and monitoring behavioral intervention plans, meeting with consumers and their families, responding to emergencies, preparing and submitting written reports regularly, maintaining caseload files, and participating as a member of multidisciplinary and professional teams. Provide staff training on implemented programs.
Qualifications
- Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB.
- Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis programming with behavioral intervention is required.
- Review and interpret highly technical information; write technical materials; speak persuasively to implement desired actions; analyze situations to define core issues and draw conclusions.
- Knowledge of age-appropriate activities/behaviors, CPT codes/payor rules/regulations/policies, language grammar, punctuation, spelling, vocabulary, and research-based treatment modalities and assessments.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, infrequent lifting to 50 pounds, and frequent pushing, pulling, reaching, turning, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting, walking, and climbing.

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to evaluate behavior, skills, and needs.
- Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on assessment results and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to refine diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.
- Design and implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
- Continuously monitor and adjust treatment plans to reflect progress and emerging needs.
- Apply ABA techniques to improve social, communication, academic, and daily living skills.
- Implement strategies to reduce maladaptive behaviors and promote positive behavior changes.
- Collect and analyze data on behavior and progress to evaluate intervention effectiveness and inform decisions.
- Maintain detailed records and prepare reports to track progress and communicate with stakeholders.
- Educate and support parents and caregivers in understanding ASD and implementing behavioral strategies at home.
- Provide guidance on managing challenging behaviors and enhancing communication and social skills.
- Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators to ensure cohesive treatment approaches.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and share insights to optimize care plans and outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff, providing training and feedback.
- Conduct performance reviews and facilitate professional development for team members.
- Engage with community resources and support networks to enhance client social and environmental integration.
- Ensure all interventions adhere to ethical guidelines, professional standards, and regulations.
- Stay current with developments in behavior analysis and autism treatment, integrating new research into practice.
- Manage crisis situations effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques to ensure safety.
- Complete daily clinical documentation within SpringHealth’s EHR.
- Assist in developing training materials for staff to improve client programs and ensure compliance with guidelines.
- Pursue continued education on behavior interventions to maintain professional competitiveness.
- Complete monthly and quarterly notes documenting client progress toward goals.
