Job summary

AB Spectrum in St. Louis, MO is seeking a BCBA to lead clinical programs in a hybrid work setting. The role emphasizes oversight of ABA therapy programs for early learners, with a 7:45 am–3:45 pm schedule and weekly hybrid/remote planning day.

The successful candidate will hold BCBA licensure, a Master’s in ABA or related field, and bring pediatric behavior health experience. Collaborative, family-centered care and supervision of practicum students are key aspects of this position.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA licensure and good standing with BACB and Missouri licensure.
• Master’s degree in ABA, Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience in pediatric behavioral health and ability to build strong relationships with families, staff and clients.
• Strong organizational, analytical and documentation skills with ongoing CEU upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Assessments & treatment planning including FBAs and data-driven plans.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to practicum students, RBTs and ABA Implementers.
• Track client progress with data collection and prepare progress reports and authorization reports.
• Maintain BACB ethical compliance and licensure standards.
• Manage a sustainable caseload (target 6 clients) and coordinate with families.
• Collaborate with in-house SLPs to integrate therapy plans.
• Support clinic growth and staff training.

Job Summary

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) serves as the primary clinical leader, responsible for the assessment, development, supervision, and ongoing evaluation of individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs for early learners in a center-based setting. This critical role ensures clinical excellence, maintains the highest ethical standards, and works collaboratively to achieve meaningful outcomes for children with ASD. The BCBA benefits from a set day schedule (7:45 am – 3:45 pm) and one protected hybrid/remote day per week for focused treatment planning and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

I. Clinical & Programmatic Ownership

• Assessment & Treatment Planning: Complete comprehensive skills assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBAs). Develop and maintain data-driven, individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
• Supervision & Mentorship: Provide intensive supervision and mentorship to practicum students, RBTs and ABA Implementers, ensuring accurate treatment fidelity and continuous professional development.
• Data & Documentation: Track client progress using established data collection methods and complete ongoing documentation, progress reports, and authorization reports accurately and efficiently.
• Ethical Compliance: Remain in good standing with BACB guidelines for retaining licensure and supervisory requirements, ensuring all services are delivered ethically.
• Caseload Management: Effectively manage a sustainable caseload (target 6 clients) to ensure focused, high-quality clinical work.
• Family Partnership: Prepare for and facilitate weekly, high-touch collaboration with caregivers and parents to promote generalization of skills across settings.
• Multi-Disciplinary Team: Engage in daily collaboration with fellow BCBAs and in-house SLPs to enhance the child’s overall treatment plan.
• Staff Training: Prepare and facilitate staff training on clinical protocols, behavior intervention plans, and organizational policies.
• Clinic Growth: Actively assist in the development and growth of future Early Intervention Clinics across the St. Louis region and Missouri.
