TheBCBA will provide support to individuals and their families bycoordinating and providing services in Applied BehaviorAnalysis, function analyses and assessment, behavior acquisitionand reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS:

  • Adhereto and support all policies and procedures, providingnecessary training for Registered Behavior Technician andcommunicating these expectations to parents, serviceproviders, and funders as necessary.
  • Followall clinical policies and procedures and guidelines.
  • Communicateopenly with the Program Manager regarding a) availability andlimits to experience and knowledge set regarding client needs,b) concerns affecting delivery of services, and c) otherissues requiring attention.
  • Collaboratewith families and other service providers to enhance andintegrate intervention (e.g., within IEPs, ISPs, schools,other medical/therapy professionals), communicating verballyand in writing and attending meetings as needed.
  • Completeassessments and develop reports within designated timelines,following clinical policies and using the behavior plantemplate as designed.
  • BCBAwill guide BCaBAs as to the responsibilities performed witheach client.
  • Attendall scheduled meetings held at Center whether scheduled inperson or online. If unable to attend, initiate communicationwith the National Clinical Director to get information andresources provided.
  • Provideoversight for Registered Behavior Technician on a 1:1 basisworking directly with clients - in accordance with the BACB,funding, and Center guidelines, to include documentationrequirements.
  • Maintaindocumentation of services in accordance with the fundersrequirements utilizing the appropriate reporting formats andsubmitting within the timelines required.

Understandsand adheres to all external accreditation review standards,applicable state, local and Federal laws and/or regulationsincluding maintaining patient confidentiality through abiding byHIPAA laws/regulations.

Education: MastersLevel: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Providersof behavior analysis must have licensure or certification onactive status at the time services are provided.

OtherRequirements: Behavior analysts must possess additional skills to besuccessful in their role. These include strong verbal andwritten communication, time management and organizationalskills, problem-solving, and competency in using a computer toaccess information and navigate the on-line system. They must bein good physical condition. They must also have the socialskills to work collaboratively with families and serviceproviders and provide effective training.

  • Do you have Communication Skill s: Effective verbal and written communication to collaborate with families, other professionals, and staff. This includes the ability to train and guide Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
  • Do you have Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with families, interdisciplinary teams, and other service providers to create integrated intervention strategies (e.g., within IEPs, ISPs).
  • Do you have Supervision & Training: Providing oversight and guidance to RBTs and other staff while ensuring proper training on behavior intervention strategies.
  • Do you have RegulatoryKnowledge: Understanding of HIPAA laws, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards to ensure compliance.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
