Job description

  • Flexible scheduling

Part-Time Less than 24 Hours Per Week | Billable Rate: $50–$75/hour

Looking for a BCBA position where you can focus on clinical care instead of supervising behavior technicians?

Thrive ABA Therapy is seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with preferred five years of post-certification BCBA experience who is passionate about providing high-quality, individualized ABA therapy to young autistic children and their families.

Unlike traditional ABA providers, Thrive ABA Therapy operates a Direct BCBA Model. We do not employ Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or Certified Behavior Technicians (CBTs). Every child receives services directly from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, allowing you to focus on meaningful clinical work, develop strong relationships with families, and provide individualized treatment.

Thrive ABA Therapy is a woman-owned small business serving families throughout King County. We believe BCBAs should have the opportunity to practice ABA the way they were trained: providing direct therapy, collaborating with families, and creating meaningful outcomes for children.

Why Experienced BCBAs Choose Thrive
  • Direct BCBA-delivered services only
  • No RBT or CBT supervision responsibilities
  • Smaller, manageable caseloads
  • Clinical autonomy and professional trust
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Strong relationships with families
  • Supportive leadership
  • Quality of care prioritized over productivity quotas
  • Opportunity to help shape and grow a local ABA practice

Thrive BCBAs are hourly employees with a consistent annual schedule of providing predictable part-time employment while maintaining the flexibility of an hourly compensation structure.

Compensation Includes
  • Billable clinical services: $50–$75 per hour
  • Paid non-billable administrative time: at a lower rate
Paid Administrative Time Includes
  • Driving between clients
  • Prepping materials
  • Completing session notes

Minimum Qualifications Required
  • Preferred Qualifications: Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Experienced Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA) candidates with extensive clinical experience will also be considered.
