Job summary

Optimum Behavioral Health is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Consultant for full-time, in-person work across residential facilities and day programs for adolescents and adults. The role focuses on designing and overseeing treatment programs, staff training, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure effective behavior support and treatment planning.

  • BCBA certification is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in BCBA roles.
  • Experience in residential facilities and day treatment settings.

Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee treatment programs for adolescents and adults 18+ in residential facilities and day treatment programs.
  • Train supervisors and professionals in behavior support and treatment planning.
  • Design and present in-service training to staff to support skill building and program management.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and update client treatment plans.
  • Conduct initial FBA and develop individualized goals and objectives.
  • Analyze program progress, modify treatment plans and write progress reports.
  • Attend transition meetings to present progress and proposed objectives.
  • Consult with professionals in person, via phone and telehealth.

Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Consultant

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work setting: In-person, Residential facilities - children and adults, Day treatment programs

Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

What We're Looking For (Qualifications):

  • BCBA certification
  • 3 + years experience

Your Role as a BCBA Consultant

  • Design and oversee treatment programs for adolescents and adults ages 18 and older with autism, cognitive disabilities and other special needs in residential facilities and day treatment programs.
  • Train and instruct supervisors, managers and other professionals in the proper implementation of behavior support and treatment planning.
  • Design and present a variety of in-service training to residential and day treatment staff in order to support skill building and program management.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings while updating the client’s treatment plan and supporting consistency among the team members.
  • Conducting initial FBA to evaluate a client's needs and developing individualized goals and objectives that will be measured and analyzed ongoing.
  • Analyzing program progress, modifying treatment plans and writing progress reports that summarize a client's current functioning.
  • Attend and participate in transition meetings to present a client’s current level of performance, progress on current goals, and proposed objectives.
  • Consult with professionals in person, via phone and through telehealth/video conferencing means
