Job summary

Soaring on Hope Pediatric Therapy Center is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to design, implement, and oversee ABA programs for children and adolescents with Autism. The role includes supervising behavior technicians, conducting team meetings, and ensuring program fidelity across settings.

You will lead and train staff, maintain progress notes to funder standards, and collaborate with the ABA team to develop assessments and intervention plans.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in psychology or other relevant field required.
  • BCBA Certification from BACB is mandatory.
  • BCBA Oklahoma licensure required.
  • Willingness to attend ABA related events.
  • Willingness to give and accept constructive feedback from peers and supervisors.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow directions in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and oversight of behavior technicians working with clients.
  • Assist with training and competency checklists for new and existing behavior technicians.
  • Prepare and conduct team meetings.
  • Assist with disciplinary action documentation and meetings of behavior technicians.
  • Implement 1:1 ABA programs to children and adolescents with Autism.
  • Provide supervision of behavior technicians, ensuring treatment quality.
  • Communicate and collaborate with team members.
  • Ensure timely preparation and completed progress notes to meet funder requirements.
  • Introduce and train new programs under direction of ABA director.
  • Manage and update client's programming.
  • Conduct VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, ALFS or other curriculum adopted by SOH.
  • Develop functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans under guidance of ABA director.
  • Assist with daily changes/update to the schedule.
  • Delegate stimuli prep and other programming tasks to Lead RBTs.
  • Provide ABA direct therapy in individual and group sessions in a center-based or home-based setting.
  • Utilize safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
  • Maintain client confidentiality.
  • Assist BCBAs with skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments as needed.

Job description

Under the direction of the ABA Directors, the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will design, implement and oversee the delivery of behavior intervention programming for children and adolescents with Autism.

Clinical Responsibilities, continued
  • Receives supervision from supervising BCBA or ABA Director for each client they work with on a regular basis to ensure program continuity and service consistency
  • Communicate regularly with coworkers, supervisors, and other health care professionals to foster a collaborative environment
  • Coordinate and/or provide coverage when clinicians are not present for treatment sessions- including pickup, drop-off, lunches, breaks, and callouts
  • Ensure facility is clean, safe, and free of safety hazards
  • Take lead in incidents, providing support and guidance to staff as needed
  • Work alongside BCBAs, assisting with assessments, programming and data entry, creating materials for clients ensuring efficient ABA sessions
  • Assist with monthly trainings
  • Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings and staff meetings
  • Assist in training and development of Behavior Technicians
  • Immediately report to BCBA or Director any incidents, grievances
Program Responsibilities
  • Attend meetings, trainings, or meetings as needed to acquire further knowledge
  • Maintain active BCBA certification
  • Ability to work effectively and positively with parents to improve quality of life
  • Ability to give and receive feedback from peers and supervisory staff
  • Must maintain a professional appearance
