Job summary

Rivermont Schools in Roanoke, VA is seeking a qualified BCBA to design and oversee evidence-based behavioral programs for students with challenges. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to promote positive behavior and meaningful progress.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, provide supervision and training, and monitor data to guide program adjustments, ensuring fidelity and quality in educational and therapeutic settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in a relevant field.
• BCBA certification or licensure eligibility by VA Board of Medicine.
• Supervisory experience in school/community settings for individuals with disabilities.
• Expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior (VB).
• Valid Virginia driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment and behavior plans.
• Provide clinical supervision, staff training, and performance feedback for fidelity and quality.

What You'll Need

• Master’s degree in human services, education, psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or licensure eligibility as a Behavior Analyst by the Virginia Board of Medicine
• Supervisory experience in a school or community-based setting serving individuals with disabilities
• Expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior (VB) practices
• Valid Virginia driver’s license in good standing
