Job summary

Achieve Beyond, founded in 1995, provides ABA, speech, occupational and physical therapies to children across the United States, with a focus on the NYC metro area. We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to conduct assessments, design behavioral plans, and supervise therapists in home, school, or clinic settings.

The ideal candidate will hold a Masters degree in a relevant field, be BCBA and LBA certified, and bring at least one year of ABA supervision experience.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Educational/Health/Human Services or Psychology.
  • BCBA and LBA certifications are REQUIRED.
  • Minimum of one year of ABA client/teacher field supervision.
  • Must be self-motivated, a team player, and patient with strong professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments for children with ASD and collaborate with caregivers to set meaningful goals and treatment plans.
  • Design behavior intervention plans.
  • Create functional, observable, and measurable goals for therapists and caregivers to execute.
  • Provide at least 10% direct supervision of behavioral therapists and offer performance feedback while maintaining program integrity.
  • Review session notes regularly for assigned therapists.
  • Analyze data and implement data-driven program changes.
  • Ensure progress is generalized and caregivers actively participate through training and communication.
  • Conduct reassessments at least twice per year and summarize progress for each client.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents, therapists and the Achieve Beyond office.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information in accordance with HIPAA and laws.
  • Ensure programs are socially significant and lead to independence and happiness.

Achieve Beyond was founded in 1995 and is continuously growing to meet the needs of developmentally disabled children through our ABA, speech, occupational, and physical therapy. We currently offer our services in the entire metro New York area (including the five boroughs of NYC, Hudson Valley and Long Island) and Albany, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware,California (within in the greater Los Angeles and San Francisco areas), Florida, and the Virginia/ Maryland/ DC area. We specialize in conducting initial evaluations and providing ongoing services in home, community and clinic settings. Now Hiring: Fee For Service, Hourly and/or Full Time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
LOCATION: New York City Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island
Jobresponsibilities
  • Conduct assessments for children diagnosed with ASD and work with caregivers to create meaningful goals and treatment plans
  • Design behavior intervention plans
  • Create functional specific, observable, and measurable goals for behavior therapists and caregivers to implement.
  • Provide at least 10% direct supervision of behavioral therapists assigned to cases, incorporating behavioral skills training and specific performance feedback while ensuring clinical integrity of the programs.
  • Clinically review session notes on a regular basis for assigned behavior therapists
  • Analyze data and implement data-driven program changes
  • Ensure that progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in therapy through specific goals, training sessions, and communication.
  • Conduct reassessments at least twice per year while summarizing data and progress for each client supervised
  • Regular communication with parents, behavioral therapists, and the Achieve Beyond office is required
  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and State & Federal regulations).
  • Ensure that all programs are socially significant, functional, and lead to independence and happiness!(services, programs, schedule, staff, etc.)
Requirements

Must have a passion for ABA and working with children, families, and therapists!

  • Masters Degree in (Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Educational/Health/Human Services, Psychology).
  • BCBA and LBA REQUIRED
  • Minimum of one year of ABA client/teacher field supervision
  • Must be self-motivated, a team player, and exercise patience/professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
  • The ability to climb and descend staircases
  • The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly
  • The ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/ or crawl for extended periods

Compensation depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
