Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a BCBA supervisor in North Carolina to lead and develop ABA programs for clients, supervise staff, and liaise with families. The role combines telehealth and in-person supervision while ensuring regulatory compliance and program integrity.

You will train staff, conduct assessments, and implement behavior-change strategies, while coordinating with families and the Program Director to meet funded hours and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in ABA or related field required.
  • Current BCBA certification from the BACB.
  • 3–5 years of remote telehealth ABA experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor, coach and develop staff.
  • Ability to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Train and supervise Student Analysts, RBTs, and BTs via telehealth and in-person methods.
  • Develop and implement individualized ABA intervention programs.
  • Create behavior acquisition and reduction programs using ABA principles.
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments.
  • Provide parent training and staff mentoring.
  • Lead clinic meetings and update staff and families.
  • Ensure contracts and billable hours align with funding sources.
  • Oversee communications with families to meet program hours.
  • Manage case work within funding requirements and collaborate with families.
  • Maintain knowledge of laws, Medicaid/Tricare programs, and waivers.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and support program growth.

Job description

  • Train and supervise Student Analysts, RBTs, and BTs using telehealth and in-person methods
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention programs based on each child’s needs
  • Develop behavior acquisition and reduction programs using principles of ABA
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments
  • Provide parent training
  • Provide mentoring, supervision, and support to clients
  • Conduct clinic meetings and disseminate information to staff and families
  • Hold weekly update meetings with the Program Director
  • Ensure contracts and billable hours are completed according to funding sources and designated amounts
  • Oversee communication with families and staff to attain program hours
  • Provide case management and collaborate with families and teachers within funding requirements
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, Tricare/governmental programs, medical insurance providers, and Medicaid waiver programs
  • Ensure compliance with regulations
  • Promote Highlights Healthcare’s growth and assist with new business opportunities
Requirements
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited program in ABA or a related field
  • Current BCBA Certification from the BACB
  • 3-5 years of remote telehealth experience in ABA
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound judgment, decision-making, and effective time management skills
  • Ability to inspire, mentor, coach, and develop staff
  • Ability to build effective and healthy relationships
  • Ability to proactively anticipate issues and develop solutions
  • Adaptability to changing organizational needs
  • Experience programming, developing, and implementing intervention programs
  • Experience supervising and training multiple levels of staff
  • Experience with Systematic Teaching, Verbal Behavior, and Naturalistic Environment Teaching
  • Experience with VB-MAPP, ABLLS, and Vineland standardized assessments
  • Experience with Central Reach EMR Software
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook/Teams
  • Reliable car, valid Driver’s License, and proof of insurance
  • Ability to work independently and produce high-quality results while handling competing priorities
  • Ability to maintain positive learner and family interactions with a high degree of professionalism
  • Ability to obtain and maintain clear criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation per HHC and/or program requirements
