Kirksville, MO; Adair County – Hybrid/Remote (Work from home up to 3‑5 days a week)

Position Summary

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) designs, implements, and supervises individualized therapy programs for individuals receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. The BCBA utilizes evidence‑based ABA strategies—such as positive reinforcement, shaping, prompt fading, and task analysis—to create effective behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans tailored to each client. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the BCBA provides ongoing supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), ensuring high‑quality service delivery, adherence to treatment plans, and professional growth. The role includes overseeing data collection systems, analyzing behavior data to monitor client progress, and making data‑driven decisions in collaboration with families and care teams.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Lead cross‑functional teams in support of client’s treatment plan.
  • Administer assessments (e.g., ABLS‑RR, AFLS) and create goals based on assessments.
  • Assess the individual’s performance and implement treatment based on established goals, including FBA and behavior support/​reduction plans.
  • Serve, communicate, and consult as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide training and education to staff, caregivers, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide feedback and ongoing support to RBTs.
  • Participate in ongoing treatment meetings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Provide direct supervision to RBTs in accordance with BACB standards, including observation, performance feedback, competency assessments, and guidance to ensure effective and ethical implementation of behavior‑analytic services.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and strictly follow safe work practices and policies.
Skills And Abilities

Strong oral and written communication, ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documentation, and effective presentation skills to diverse audiences.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and to interpret bar graphs using computer applications.

Computer Skills

Proficiency as a Performance User with frequent use of data‑heavy reports, multiple applications, and critical decision support systems such as Set Works, DBA, Vertex, Fleet Maintenance Pro, Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel, Spend Map, KRONOS WFR, and CHS Dashboard.

Qualifications
  • BCBA certification required; candidates within three months of certification may be considered.
  • Met supervisor requirements through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Missouri.
  • Credentialed or eligible through private insurance companies.
  • Excellent Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle insurance required.
  • Must live in the service area to be considered.
Preferred Experience
  • Supervisory experience.
Shifts

Full‑time (35 hrs per week), Mon‑Fri: TBD.
