Job summary

Astra ABA in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to oversee a diverse caseload across in-home, in-school, and remote settings. You will supervise RBTs and BTs, collaborate with families and schools, and ensure data-driven progress within compassionate, evidence-based practices.

The role emphasizes mentorship, professional growth, and adherence to BACB standards, with travel as needed to support clients across settings.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Child Development, or related field.
  • Current BCBA certification in good standing with BACB.
  • Active North Carolina Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA).
  • Meets BACB supervision requirements.
  • Minimum of two years' experience with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally as needed.
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to supervise and mentor clinical staff while supporting positive client outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and oversee comprehensive behavioral assessments to identify client strengths and needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans based on ABA.
  • Provide supervision, mentorship, and training to RBTs, BTs, and other staff.
  • Collaborate with families through education, support, and ongoing communication on progress.
  • Review and analyze clinical data to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with parents, schools, and interdisciplinary providers to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities.
  • Maintain knowledge of ABA research, best practices, and BACB ethical standards.
  • Ensure services comply with insurance requirements, authorizations, and documentation standards.
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation and billing.
  • Travel locally, as needed, to support across home, school, and community settings.

  • Collaborate with parents, schools, and interdisciplinary providers to ensure continuity of care across settings.
