Job summary

Able Stars ABA in Maryland is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. We provide hybrid work with telehealth supervision and in-person visits, a supportive leadership team, and a focus on evidence-based practices that transform lives for children with autism.

As a BCBA, you will oversee clinical caseloads, supervise RBTs, develop individualized treatment plans, collect data, and ensure ethical compliance.

Qualifications

  • BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
  • Master’s degree in psychology, ABA, or related field.
  • State licensure where required (licensure support available).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with clients with Autism and/or developmental disabilities.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills; calm and effective under pressure.
  • Ability to pass a background check, child abuse clearance, and fingerprinting.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Required completion of the 8-hour BACB supervision course.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments (FBA, VB-MAPP, EFL, etc.) and write individualized treatment plans.
  • Oversee all clinical aspects of assigned caseload using evidence-based practices.
  • Train, supervise, and coach RBTs/BTs on treatment plan implementation (BACB supervision min 10% of direct service hours).
  • Collect, analyze, and review client data to guide clinical decisions.
  • Conduct monthly parent education and caregiver training sessions.
  • Complete session notes, reports, and treatment plans accurately and on time.
  • Maintain monthly billable hour expectations.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team and attend company training and meetings.
  • Adhere to the BACB Ethics Code and all regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

Compensation and Schedule
  • Competitive pay, flexible hours
  • Full-Time or Part-Time Available – Full-Time is 25+ billable hours/week; anything under is Part-Time
  • Hybrid: telehealth with in-person client visits as required

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Required completion of the 8‑hour BACB supervision course.
