Job summary

ABA Centers of Virginia is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in Alexandria, VA, offering a starting rate of $100,000–$120,000 per year and relocation assistance up to $15K. The role focuses on designing and supervising ABA programs for children and families, with a strong emphasis on mentorship and career growth.

You will lead skill acquisition and behavior-reduction plans, supervise RBTs and caregivers, and perform comprehensive assessments to guide intervention decisions.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree is required.
  • Active BCBA certification is required.
  • Initiate the state licensure process prior to the start date if required.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and monitor skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs.
  • Oversee the implementation of behavior-analytic programs by RBTs and caregivers.
  • Conduct assessments related to the need for behavioral intervention (e.g., preference assessment, functional assessment, staff performance assessment).
  • Be willing and able to supervise others seeking BCBA certification weekly.
  • Other typical BCBA activities.
