Job summary

Charm City Therapy in Maryland is seeking a dedicated BCBA to join our school-based and clinic teams. The BCBA will provide high-quality ABA services to children with autism, supervise RBTs, and oversee treatment plans across settings.

You will conduct assessments, collaborate with families and interdisciplinary staff, ensure compliant documentation, and participate in ongoing professional development. A Maryland state license and BACB certification are required.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification from BACB.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Maryland license as a behavior analyst.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments (functional behavior assessments, VB-MAPP/ABLLS-R as applicable).
• Develop, implement, and supervise individualized ABA treatment plans.
• Provide direct supervision and guidance to RBTs and behavior therapists.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans based on data.
• Train staff and caregivers on ABA principles and strategies.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation including session notes.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with BACB ethics and state regulations.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our school based and/or clinic team. The BCBA will work in a school based setting, providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism. This position involves supervision of RBTs, development and oversight of treatment plans, direct client assessment, and collaboration with families and interdisciplinary team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, including functional behavior assessments (FBA) and skills assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R).
• Develop, implement, and supervise individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and best practices in ABA.
• Provide direct supervision and clinical guidance to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and behavior therapists.
• Monitor client progress and make data-driven adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Train and support staff and caregivers on ABA principles and behavior intervention strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and insurance requirements.
• Participate in regular staff meetings and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards as outlined by the BACB and relevant state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Licensed as a behavior analyst in Maryland.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment.
