Job summary

gpac in partnership with a growing pediatric ABA clinic in Ankeny, Iowa is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead clinical assessments and treatment planning. This full-time role offers a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment focused on evidence-based care.

You will supervise RBTs, train caregivers, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team while adhering to BACB guidelines. The position includes a competitive salary, health benefits, 401(k) with company matching,

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Current BCBA certification (or ability to obtain certification promptly).
  • Active Iowa Behavior Analyst license, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • At least one year of experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Previous experience supervising RBTs or Behavior Technicians is preferred.
  • BACB supervision certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional client care and supporting team development.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skill assessments
  • Develop, implement, and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Analyze clinical data to guide treatment decisions and monitor client progress
  • Supervise, mentor, and support Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians
  • Provide caregiver education and consultation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain high clinical and ethical standards in accordance with BACB guidelines

Work Environment

This position is primarily clinic-based and involves active engagement with young children throughout the day. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, responding to challenging behaviors, and participating in physical activities that may include lifting, bending, kneeling, sitting on the floor, and moving quickly throughout the clinic.
