Job summary

Protouch Staffing in Virginia Beach is seeking a compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our clinical team in Virginia.

The role offers a hybrid schedule with in-person assessments and remote supervision, part-time or full-time, to support children and adolescents with ASD through evidence-based ABA services.

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification required.
  • VA LBA eligibility or licensure before start date.
  • Minimum 1 year post-cert BCBA experience.
  • Experience with ASD or related developmental disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and data-driven treatment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-person behavioral assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Design, implement, monitor, and modify ABA programs.
  • Analyze data and adjust treatments accordingly.
  • Provide remote and on-site supervision to RBTs and staff.
  • Coach caregivers and families with ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with parents, educators, and professionals for consistency.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Ensure services comply with Virginia regulations and BACB ethics.
  • Travel locally to conduct assessments and services.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Job Type: Part-Time (15-25 hours/week) or Full-Time

Work Model: Hybrid - In-Person Assessments / Remote Supervision

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and highly motivated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing clinical team in Virginia.

The BCBA will provide high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. This position offers flexible scheduling and a hybrid work model, including in-person assessments and remote clinical supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-person behavioral assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Design, implement, monitor, and modify ABA programs based on client progress and clinical data.
  • Analyze behavioral data and make appropriate treatment adjustments to support positive outcomes.
  • Provide remote and on-site clinical supervision, guidance, and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and direct-care staff.
  • Conduct caregiver training and provide families with ongoing clinical support.
  • Collaborate with parents, educators, caregivers, and other interdisciplinary professionals to ensure consistency of treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and clinical notes.
  • Ensure services are provided in accordance with Virginia regulations, organizational policies, and BACB ethical standards.
  • Travel locally as needed to conduct required in-person assessments and clinical services.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®) certification.
  • Active Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential issued by the Virginia Board of Medicine, or eligibility to obtain Virginia licensure prior to the start date.
  • Minimum 1 year of post-certification BCBA experience required.
  • Experience working with children or adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or related developmental disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles, assessment methods, and evidence-based treatment practices.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, organization, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Ability and willingness to conduct required in-person assessments within the local service area.
