Position:

Full-Time Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Schedule:

Approximately 7:40 a.m.–3:00 p.m., aligned with the elementary school day

Initial Placement:

Elementary school, with an initial focus on supporting two identified classrooms

Position Scope and Responsibilities:

The BCBA will provide comprehensive behavioral support and consultation services across the district, with an initial focus on elementary-level programming. Responsibilities may include:

  • Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and supporting Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs)
  • Developing, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing individualized behavior support plans
  • Providing behavioral consultation and recommendations to students, teachers, and school teams
  • Conducting classroom observations and collecting, reviewing, and analyzing behavioral data
  • Providing staff coaching, training, and collaborative support related to behavior management and intervention strategies
  • Supporting behavioral components of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborating with educators, related service providers, administrators, families, and other members of student support teams
  • Providing broader district-level behavioral consultation and services as needs arise
